Liar

by Yours Truely   May 23, 2006

She fakes a smile and pretends,
She's happy in this place.
She tries to stop a lifetime of dreams,
From rolling down her face.

She blinks away every tear,
Laughs at every joke.
She pretends she's happy,
On her own lies, she will choke.

No one realizes her being there,
Is what made her like this.
She believes in nothing now,
death--her only bliss.

Her life, now full,
Of deceit and despair.
Eternal Sleep is now her only escape,
From her horrible nightmare.

Yours Truely, This is a brilliant poem. Maybe you should tell some one how you feel... before you do something you regret..
