Silence of the Night

by ~*Fallen Angel*~   May 23, 2006

Silence of the night,
Dead quiet shadows,
In her room alone
Locked away tight.

Her eyes filled with tears
As every cut gets deeper
Her wrist being sliced
Releasing her darkest fears

Satan fills the air
As she commits this sin
Hurting her soul
Knowing life isn’t fair

Blood flows from her vein
Every drop hitting the floor
Bringing her closer to him
Closer to a death full of pain.

Darkening life
The blood runs dry,
Her body on the floor
And her hand holding the knife.

Death rested in her heart,
Emptiness filled her soul,
Sin made her world black,
Causing it to fall apart.

He was right
He could steal her soul,
And he did piece by piece
In the silence of the night.
