Listen Up, Don't interupt

by Em   May 24, 2006

Sitting here alone,
Marveling in my glory,
Of unrequited love,
This is my sad story.

Friends listen up,
Maybe you can relate,
You can calm my voice,
But my spirit you cannot sedate.

My Love,
I am not your toy,
To play with when you need a laugh,
Simply because I am coy.

My Family,
Why couldn't you see?
I'm awful sorry,
But perfect is not something I can be.

So sit tight,
And listen close,
Wipe your tears,
For I am now no more then ghost.
