The Old Ones Speak of Death

by Brooke Thompson   May 24, 2006

The old ones speak of Death
Passage onto the other plane
An end to the darkness of life
A tunnel of pain and sorrow
The end brings a shining, joyous light
So the old ones say.

Interesting. A bit too short to critique very well. The diction was pretty mature, and I'd say there was a fledgling rhythm being developed, though it was once again too short for a full-blown rhythm.

This sounds like something I would say about things my grandfather talks about. I like it.
