Black Ashes

by Secret(SILENT)Screams   May 24, 2006

Black ashes fall all around,
She stands barefoot.
As the leaves scatter on the pavement,
The wind blows back her cedar hair.
And the tears fall from her pale blue eyes,
Sha has no happiness.
As if she was walking down a dark alley,
Lit only by her hopes and dreams.
But then she realizes her life is empty,
And she has no one to turn to.
Except for the darkness,
Which has become her true friend.
So as the colors fade,
And the memories die.
She sits and ponders,
Thinking if this is how her llife is meant to be.
Cold, meaningless and empty
