My heart and Mind

by Gherwin   May 25, 2006

Slowly she walks inside my room.

Darkness fell, signifies my doom

Held my hand and whispered in my ear,

Dreadful words I long to hear

Then she left me with a sad goodbye

Tears set off from my gloomy eyes

My heart pounds as it calls her name

Pride is what my mind exclaim

As I tried to live a new life of mine,

A strife ensued between my heart and mind

The conflict grew it made me weak

Causing unbearable pain that makes me sick

Now, I am the man who lives in the past

Enclosed in a cell made of iron crust

In this vicious conflict, death holds the decree

So that my soul will once again be free!!
