Sweet Death

by darksoul   May 25, 2006

Oh death whispering softly into my ear
sounding so sweet i shall not fear thee
thine breath sending a cool smooth breeze onto my warm pale skin
like a seductor into the night my blood begins to flow
reaching for thy dagger that lay beside thee
thy reflection appears so dark and pale
thoughtless thoughts arise in my head

singing a song of a sweet melody
oh death what will shall come of me?

gently you lay your dark cool hands upon mine
whispering soft words into my ear
telling me i shall be protected from all the pain

death as thou gaze into my eyes and place thy lips on mine
all becomes silent as a single of my scarlet blood drops
wrapping thy arms around me tighter i begin to feel numb
whispering softer as to reassure of what we've done

thou take the blade from my chest
as thou lift me up into a cradle position
i rest my face onto thy shoulder
humming the tune of thy sweet melody
a tear falls from my eye as you catch it

holding it tight and gently as thou do me
i wrap my arms around thy neck
as we gaze into anothers eyes and swiftly recieve a kiss
i drift off to sleep soon to be thine ever more.....
