Almost Famous (My Life)

(9) Almost Famous

Cute, pretty, adorable little girl
A would-be, could-be model
Poses cutely, dresses up
Scouted more than once

A would-be writer
Won an award at 10 for a beautiful story
Awesome heights, featured point of view
In middle school

An ambitious, could-be singer
Who lost her voice at 11
Can barely talk from a fever
But holds the soul for her lost talent

A stubborn kid
Who wanted to be president
First woman president
Discouraged, but held her chin up

A talented artist
Beautiful imagery
Perfect paint colors
Mysterious pictures

A wonderful poet
Who, when losing other traits
Escaped to pen and paper
To write these tales

But the best, would-be, could-be
Is herself
For she has the ambition to never back down
And to never give up on her dreams

That wonderful, almost-famous
Just happens to be me.

I'm in awe at your talent...honestly you have a lovely style of writing. I love this part:

    A wonderful poet
    Who, when losing other traits
    Escaped to pen and paper
    To write these tales

and absolutley love the finish of the poem.......excellent.
