A Beautiful Letdown

Bailing out of life again
Our shadows start to fade
a reality has disappeared
behind a darkened shade
taking all were living in
and throwing it away
may not be enough to live
through another day
Feeling i can take no more
i step up to the edge
looking down its all so small
from this awful ledge
i bear upon a weakend soul
from which i have recovered
holding faith and dignity
both yet to be discovered
Something screaming out inside
yes screaming out at me
all it's screams is what i lack
My soul has been let free
