Melting heart

by Sariah   May 26, 2006

A greater love she'd never felt
It she loved him more her heart would melt

The danger of loving so strong
Is that when it ends you hurt so long

Maybe she should have seen the end so near,
the silence and emptiness should have been clear

she wouldn't feel a thing if you tore out her heart
it was ravaged already, he had done his part

He had made a whole and left a wound so deep
the very depths of her soul each night did weep

Crimson tears her soul rained out
Transparent to others, there is no doubt

Reaching out for hope for a better day
a new sun will bring happiness she prays
