to when i smiled.

if only for a while.

Tack me back,
to when the stars shone bright.
Take me back,
to when we talked all night.

Take me back,
past yesterday.
Take me back,
to live the happy way.

Take me back,
to when the sky was blue.
Take me back,
to when my laughter was true.

Take me back,
to when there was no pain.
Take me back,
to when i danced in the rain.

Take me back,
so my tears will cease.
Take me back,
to give me some peace.

Take me back,
to when i smiled.
Take me back,
if only for a while.

    Willow, my girl, you make me cry. I wish that I could be with you as well, I'm happy that Helen is there with you when I cannot. Please know that all of us down here love you and would do anything to see you smile. I love your poem, you read it to me over the phone a few eeks ago. It brings a tear to my eye.
