only darkness surrounds me

is it a simple act of dishonesty?
A lack of interest toward ones heart?

as an angel my only mistake is to love
but if only love brings happiness
y does my soul remain in a cave of darkness and misery?
i have done my duty as a guardian angel

does this darkness have a purpose?
or am i searching for a reality that is only caused by ones state of mind?

i set my soul to only one substance and that is my belief
