Forgive or Forget

How could I forgive,
When you've hurt me so much.
Its hard to just forget and live
When you've left me all alone to trudge.

You created a fear in my interior,
A fear that converts into pride
You might regret your behavior
But you can't erase the harm you caused, even if you tried

One thing, for sure will never change,
Its the way I care for you,
Something I wouldn't dare to exchange.

I wish I could forgive and forget
But the impact remains in my memory
Your actions to my heart was a threat
Now I only fear, and await your defamatory.
