My white dove fades . . .

by natalie   May 28, 2006

Seeing a life begin,
hearing the ocean's love come alive
the sense of emotions fill your mind.

Seeing your face fade
a hollow heart aches,
I'm letting you know
healing your soul.

Left without a care.
Learning to love, i dare.
The air you breathe
is the essence of a love.

Hollow days alone
pushing the sun away,
my white dove fades...
his feathers turn Grey.

Seeing a life end
hearing the ocean scream,
the sense of death turns to ashes.

Letting my white dove go,
he flies away today,
And as i gaze down at my feet...
a Grey feather lies upon my feet.
