It was She

by Aaron   May 28, 2006

The scent of flowers in her hair, the smile that dazzles my heart
The warm glow of kindness, her gentle touch.

My mind longs, hopes, for her return
a feeling so painful, a flame so bright it burns.

What can i say? She's inside me
Days, weeks, months, there is still no one other than she.

Why does this happen?

A torment i enjoy, a pain i savour.
Every passing day waiting for the moment where i can see her.

After all, it was she who gave to me
the strength, the courage to love.
