A game for you

by Aaron   May 29, 2006

A demure smile and eyes so bright,
Entranced my lonely heart.
Your gentle touch, your voice so sweet,
warmed a lonely soul.

Promises made and sworn,
Were the things that kept me going.
The times you smiled, the words you spoke,
Made my life worth knowing.

A sudden silence, cuts my heart.
For every word you left unspoken,
Murdered my crying soul
A silence so deadly, my spirit died inside.

I know you not, that much is clear.
No chance for reconciliation,
No time for sweet words.
Day after day, i finally knew...

I was but a game for you.
