Sisters forever

by valerie   May 30, 2006

As I am putting old photos back on the shelf
I stop, and pause for a moment and think to myself,
Of all the moments we shared that, will last forever
All of the things that we did that were so clever

Glancing over many amazing memories
Looking and seeing the transformation in our beauties
Hoping that each other will never change
With smiles and secrets we have always exchanged

Remembering giggles and happy times, we shared
I remember the feeling we had knowing that the other really cared
We told each other everything
Especially when our hearts were definitely aching

Going to bed in the same room at night
Sometimes we would go to bed and end our day with a fight
Nevertheless, in our prayers, we were praying for the other
Because inside we really new we loved each other

As I push the box of photos to the back,
I watch you as you dig out your bags so you can pack
I follow you through the house as you gather your stuff
Watching you, leave is so thogh

As you zip up your bags and toss them in the car
I think to my self how long you will be gone and think a phone call away isnt very far
Nevertheless, I still will miss you and everything about you
I tear up and think of everything that we have gone through

But having you as my sister all these years
Has made me appreciate you being here
I love you my sister
Even though times felt like a twister

You make me smile and grin from ear to ear
Thanks so much for always being so sincere
You are the best friend I will ever have
Seems we were like each others half

as you leave for college i will miss you
and all that you do
i will pray for you and think of you every night
and hope you do the same hand have an amazing life
