I am minority
I am meek
I am a woman
I am strong
I am vocal

I am misinterpreted
I am Mexican-American
I am Catholic
I am homosexual
I am still human

I am enraged
I am discouraged
I am peaceful
I am denied marriage
yet, I am still able to love

You are one
I am one
we are similar
we are different
but we all love
