The numbers are
Twenty-seven to sixteen to eight
These numbers here
They just aren't so great

Twenty-seven think
Sixteen intend
But yet still
Eight attempt

Of all those people
Out of eight to twenty-five
There is only one
Who has die

Four out of one hundred
Teenagers are depressed
Most of their suicides
Have had one previous attempt

It's the third leading cause of death
From fifteen to twenty-four year olds
And the sixth leading cause
From five to fourteen year olds

Nearly sixty percent of suicides
Are committed with a gun
They don't think about it
And without a thought it's done

Girls think about suicide
Twice as much as boys
But suicide isn't a gamee
And guns aren't toys

The numbers are there
In clear black and white
But we can only hope and wish
That these numbers aren't right

Teenagers
And that awful suicide
It gets even worse
As one more person died
