I saw you in the hall;
but i didn't think of this at all.
Who would have thought that you would be dead;
when the speaker came on, we didn't speak but instead:
We sat there very quiet and still;
some cried, some acted as thought their best friend had been killed.
I didn't know you very well;
but when I heard I turned very pale.
The halls turned deadly silent;
some people turned violent.
People were crying, it was very sad;
some acted as though they were mad.
But they will see one day,
that your in a better place and it was meant to be this way.
~I wrote this poem because this 16 year old guy that went to my school got killed in a head on collision last year, I didn't know him but the situation was sad and even those who didn't know him, it effected us because the situation is sad, that could have been a good friend of mine, it makes you think!~
