Visions

by williamcampbell   May 30, 2006

As I lay here in this empty bed,
All these visions run through my head.
Visions of you and visions of me,
Visions of us living happily.
Visions of laughter, and visions of joy,
Visions of one day having a baby boy.
Visions of us holding hands,
Visions of us making plans.
Visions of us making love,
Visions us blessings from above.
But then from the dark of the night,
The phone rings out through the night.
The reality hits like a ton of bricks,
And I feel like Im going to be sick.
Right now I am so far away,
And every night this prayer I pray.
Dear Lord please bring her back to me,
Please make these visions reality.
