Masked man...

by Frank Tolbert   May 30, 2006

Protected during the day
beaten by night
the little one cries out for help
he can't take it anymore
his dad is uncontrollable
make him stop

little one doesn't
want to feel the pain anymore
wants to feel loved and welcomed
something his father can't offer

little one said something wrong
went to school with a black and blue eye
no one to help
no one to stop the pain
little one is afraid to speak

what is one to do
Little one doesn't know
Help is on the way

sirens and squealing tires
come to an instant stop
father is carried away

pain is no more
Little one has no father
masked man, how can you do what you do?
Little one's pain never seems to go away....

Wow I almost cried. And I never cry while reading or anything. That's amazing Frank. I love it.
