Tears that have yet to Fall

by Leah   May 30, 2006

A handsome boy wit a terminal illness, living his last days in a hospital bed, oh how he longs to go home, to spend his last days with her instead.

A beautiful girl with a weak heart
soon its time for her to die
but the only way to shield her sorrow, is to look beneath his eyes.

He screams, he screams, he screams, you cannot catch his fall,
you cannot touch his kisses,
you cannot feel his pain at all.

She screams, she screams, she screams, she cannot find the words that are right, she doesn't want to look at him, she prays with all her might.

They want to be together,
they want to feel eachothers touch
they think that it will cure them
but it doesn't help them much.

They want to find the answers
to strive for something more
but the illness takes it chorus
it courses to their bodies cores.

He remembers all her laughs
he remembers all her smiles
he hasn't seen her healthy
in one million zillion whiles.

She remembers all the roses,
that he bathed her in
as she searches desolate darkness
knowing she looks unkempt and thin.

There they die seconds apart
hoping beyong theres something more, hoping they'll stay together,
like they were before.

Roses are roses,
and ashes are dust,
undying love
is everlasting lust.

Roses are roses,
they answered Gods beckoning call
not here to cry,
their tears that have yet to fall.
