We are torn

by Lexi   May 31, 2006

As i sit here
under this tin roof
i begin to think

i think of what lies ahead
and the questions you will be asked
i know the answers you will give

it is because i am you
and you are me
we are one in the same

we think the same
we react the same
we will stay the same

through all our troubles
and all our stopping points
we kept moving togethor

but not this time
i moved on without you
and i dont think thats fair

i stopped helping
and you stopped trying
you gave up on me

ive never known a time
when that occured
togethor we would make right

we were happy
we were perfect
just me and you

you worked and
i played
as it should have been

now we are torn
300 miles apart
and in 500 pieces
