Shaver Lake Summers(and sometimes winters)

Shaver Lake summers (and sometimes winters)
Have provided my personal peek at paradise

The trees grow tall
Their scent and the bright blue sky stimulate me

We stay seven days at the Swearingen suite
A comfy cozy cabin in the village

Close by, a corner store provides a steady candy supply
M&M's
Mint Chips Hershey's
Cookies 'N Cream Candy Bars
And Baby Bottle Pops

Hikes in the back hills yield wild flowers
And wild bellows from brothers

Late afternoon lake trips
Include our boat bounding for big fishing

Weekdays the lake lies low
And fish frolic in the lagoon

In winter a white wonderland appears
Icy snow slopes give way to sledding
Open doors give way to open fires
And moments are made memories

Shaver Lake summers (and sometimes winters)
Have provided my personal peek at paradise
