Tombstones

Tombstones
covered in moss
grieving families
mourn their loss
solemn husbands
with crying wives
ask ' what sort of god
would take these lives'
flowers in vases
are starting to wilt
put there by people
driven with guilt
everyone dies
the good and the bad
fathers mothers children
happy or sad
for those still living
life goes on
just never forget
the ones who are gone
