No Need for A Life Preserver

by They Call Me Megan   Jun 1, 2006

One from two.
Headfirst blind dive into your intoxicating scent
Childish fall into depths of unknown territory
Mother's sure guide has been left behind on the shore
Giant ripples floating amongst the blooming hearts and bursting blooms
Spiraling outward in graceful patterns
Bathing in hair, spit, and sweat
Beads gather in creases of your shoulders
Tumble downward upon my hollows becoming a warm touchless embrace
Drowning quickly in lust, no need for a life preserver
You are enough to bestow the purest of air to surge through my lungs
Save me from the mighty sea and terrible waves
Heart for repayment
Into this dance
From slow romantics
To the fleeting painless notion of no return
And then again to the foreword
Make the sound of heaven pulling down.
