Another year's end

by Sorefromreality   Jun 2, 2006

More memories shared
in ten years we wont care
so value this time, it is precious
trying to improve what is left of us

the glares and insults have been exchanged
so many more people hav been changed
i'll miss those people very much,
but look at us, standing untouched

hate has graced us, but we resisted
unlike others we aren't narcissistic
so now a year of life has passed
i can't believe it happened so fast

seemed like suicide walking in those doors
like wishing for an early death gracing those floors
i lost some friendships and shed some tears
i broke some rules and conquered some fears

my only regret is letting it pass me by
when ur busy pushing through life, time sure does fly
i regret not treasuring every moment of this year
but at least by now i can look at myself in the mirror
