Very well penned. I interpreted it as you breaking away from depression. People have pushed you to the edge, and you felt locked down. But you set yourself free and you were letting them know that you are breaking free, they lost. 5/5 :)

Wow hun this is amazing. I, like Jenna understood you breaking away from it, but then near the end, it's was as if you were letting go of yourself too. And you always had the key...like you haven't had the courage to use it earlier.
Amazing poem, one of the best i've read. I love it.
Take care sweetie, i'm here for you, i hope you know that.

I really loved its interpretation, but also how you handed it over to the reader for them to decide what it was revealing. How I saw it was this: You were in depressions hold, those chains binding you from feeling the happiness of life. And as your saddness - even maddness - grew deeper, it pushed you closer to the edge every time. But as you stood on the edge, you saw how much fear and pain there was over it, so you decided to end the fear and pain altogether. You had the key with you the whole time, the key to lock you out, but you didn't know how to unlock your chains. But as you realized how much fear was over the edge, you unbid yourself of the chains, throwing them away, and also the key, because the key would never have to free yourself of that again.

Okay, I'm rambling. But I loved the interpretation. Amazingly expressed, and just plain brillant. It flowed well, also.

Wow. This was brillant hun. Very strong words you used aswell. The message I kinda got was being caught up in depression but I wasn't sure if in the ending it meant free as in this person is happy again, or as in free, cause they took there life. Either way, It's stilla very great poem. I enjoyed reading it. Keep it up! 5/5

Hmm.. i think the edge signifies the end of your suffering, your depression maybe even death. Your depression has always tied you down from ever feeling 'good' about your life. As you get closer to the ledge/death, you realize theres no need for you yourself to fall into the ledge, only your overbearing chains. So mustering up enough courage, they take them off. YOu listen for the sound of the key because that's your verification that indeed, you suffering is finally over. am i close?

Wow, I don't know what to say about this poem but it really is inspiring me to learn how to write better as you can clearly write with so much emotion and descriptive words. Capturing the reader's attention, you have a talent you shouldn't waste.
