Her Last Letter

by Raychil   Jun 3, 2006

She's done with everything
The world is dead to her
No happiness lies in this place
It's just an angry blur

The pain she's in is staying
She finally understands
There's nothing left to live for
She's done with life's demands

Tired wanting to give in
Tired of living a lie
She's simply just tired of everything
It all makes her want to cry

She's done with herself
She isn't special and never amounted
It's not like its a big deal
She's just another statistic to be counted

Fake smiles aren't anything to her
She's given up on trying
What's it worth appearing happy?
When on the inside she is dying

She feels her heart begin to swell
And she finally lets go
She wants to be free of this depression
That never ceases to grow

She wrote one last letter
So all would finally see
How blind they were to her tears
How happy, she could never be

"To all my friends and family
I'm sorry for what I caused you
But now I'm gone and we're all happy
And I hope you know I love you"

"I couldn't take the world anymore
I couldn't stand the pain
I gave up my endless battle
I gave in to the torturous shame"

"I didn't want things to be this way
I was tired of living a lie
But don't worry, we'll meet again
And I'll ask God to let me drop by"

Once the note was done
She quickly grabbed her knife
And in that moment she became a statistic
Just another teen who ended her life..

*Not one of my best, but I hope you like it.
