As I Sit Here Thinking of You.

by Izumi Nightroad   Jun 3, 2006

As I sit here in this hour I think of you and how things could have been. And to myself I think maybe I have done something wrong. Please forgive me. And as I look into my heart I say to myself I have done nothing wrong it was all your fault. You broke me. You broke my heart. I whisper to myself I wonâ??t let you take over my life. I wonâ??t let you. You canâ??t and wonâ??t. and as I sit there thinking to myself I realize to myself that this is what you wanted. Me, alone, sitting, at home, with a broken heart, not going anywhere. And as I realize this to myself and say again you will not win I pick up my coat and I leave my home. Iâ??m on the road to something else. Someone else. Someone else better than you. I donâ??t need you, you arenâ??t worth me. And now I realize that. As I leave my house I take a breath of triumph. You wonâ??t win. You may have broken my heart, but you wonâ??t leave it on the ground. I will pick up the pieces, put the back together and move on. You arenâ??t worth me, or my heart, and I wonâ??t let that tear my apart.
