The End

by Izumi Nightroad   Dec 29, 2006

As the moonless sky flies over my eyes
I see your face outlined by the stars.
I know forever in my heart that never again
shall I hear your voice
Never again shall I
feel your arms wrapped around me
holding me tight
Never again shall I hear the words
I need and long for so much that it makes my heart ache
Just to know that someone loves me
The wench that I am
I sit alone
Crying
Just knowing that
One day
You will find someone
Beneath the starry sky
That will love you forever
She will be better than me
Oh so much better
For she wonâ??t make the mistakes I have
I am sorry
For this is the last poem I write
Itâ??s for you
Just know that
I love you a lot
You mean a lot to me
And yeahâ?¦
I guess this is the end
But itâ??s my fault
I walked out the door
Iâ??ve shut all the windows
Now itâ??s time to lock it
And say goodbye
You said you never wanted to speak again
So I guessâ?¦
This is the end.
Iâ??m sorry
I truly am
For this is the end.
The last poem I write.
My feelings out in the open
I love you a lot.
Just know that you were a dream come true
If you ever want to talk againâ?¦
Just know
Iâ??ll be right here waiting
Forever.

This is a poem for Ryan. He means a lot to me. Heâ??s my ex boyfriend. We had a lot planned, but it all went down the drain. Itâ??s my fault such a thing happened; regret, sadness, and hurt are all I can feel. Iâ??ve become numb. Ryan, if youâ??re reading this, please know that I love you a lot. If you ever want to talk or anything just say the word. Iâ??m going to be right here, waiting.
