A brief time with us

by stranger than most   Jun 4, 2006

I saw you born
but didn't hear you breathe
you were cold and blue
i held you upon my skin
my baby that i loved

you were so small and defenseless
i couldn't let you go
you were and still are my very soul
Bobbie i love you so

i handed you to your daddy
i could see in his eyes
he was trying to hold in the tears
as he held you close to his chest

we sat together the 3 of us
and then we were told to let you go
i couldn't move as i loved you so

to feel you and to hold you are a lifetime memories
our darling Bobbie our angel

your in gods hands now

when we get to see you
and hold you once again
thats the time our pain will cease
and our family will be complete
