Teenage Fake

by KayTOTS   Jun 6, 2006

Through all the hypocricy it seems like a sin
for liars and fakes to never give in
the way we act dainty for mother and father
then walk out the door and become devil's daughter
but its never wrong to endulge in the drugs...
and its never been wrong to give in and give up
your secrets build while you clean up your mess
but for mother and father you always look best
lie just once more, see how long it will last
but just one mistake and its over like that...
two faced and worthless, and soon you will see
that mirror holds everything you'd hate to be
For mother and dad we must be coherent,
we'd hate them to know the problem's apparent
with all this hypocricy it seems almost right
for liars and fakes to become angels by night..

    Wow. Hats off to you.

It gets a point across, it's strong, it's enjoyable to read, and well written. Lately I'm having trouble finding these kinds of poems, so good stuff. 5 out of 5 for you.
