Robyn's Prologue

by Rosi   Jun 6, 2006

Sleep, sleep
It is too early for this spell
With the pawns and the pieces
I'll be going to Hell.

Mother and Daddy say to awaken
But I like to lie in the sun,
With the cat and the leaves and no sisters
When going to school is no fun.

The Cheshire say I am a mad girl
The White Rabbit says I am late
Daddy takes me to the Hatters
Mother picks me up at the gate.

The Hatters tell me "be a good girl
And eat the cakes at the desk"
They're there to keep me from lashing out
And will take me to eternal rest.
