The empty nothing

by Unique4eva   Jun 8, 2006

Dear diary:

The shame is there
The dark abyss is eating away at me.
The outsiders promised that I'd be all right
They said they could find the key.

The salt sea burns my face
My lungs are hallow
My brain is screaming
All most there the people said
soon they'll be no more sorrow.

The knife at the side
gleaming and shimmering
But when I cut the soft skin
I didn't find blood or bone
Just a shell of what I was.

But now I have a new view on life
as I lay and look upon
The empty nothing.
