Musical Dream

by Kyleene   Jun 8, 2006

Glorious sound floats to my ears
And I follow the noise to a room full of light
I walk inside to find myself looking at a woman with her back to me
As I walk around to look at her face,
I gasp as I look upon myself
The magnificent music is drifting from my own mouth
And suddenly all is dark
Hours pass with no sound, feeling, or sight
A pulling sensation enters my whole body
And I open my eyes to find myself in the bright room once more
I am alone
But now I feel my voice moving in a wonderful way
And I begin to create sensational music
But then I jerk awake like a butterfly waking up from slumber
My eyes open with odd wakefulness
My voice fills my throat and flutters inside of my mouth
Happiness and pure joy enters my mind
A calm settles over my body
Music relieves my stress
And by singing,
I reassure myself that I can do what it takes to reach my goals
My musical dream inspires me to try harder in life
Music can be a reliever for pain, a love for life, and helpful in upsetting situations
Let these sounds take a hold of your heart
Have a musical dream of your own and treasure it
