Stupid boy

by sizhe   Jun 10, 2006

The stupid kid walked down the street,
With brand new Nikes on his feet,
Hands in his pockets like he owns it,
Kicking the fence like he had known it,
Despite what his innocence and curiosity may be,
He was soon on his knees about to plea,
Because bad things happen to good people,
Even before he knew the weapon was lethal,
He played with it like a toy,
Bullets fully loaded ready to destroy,
Foolish little boy was about to witness,
What us humans have done to hit his,
Mind in a sparatuous view,
The sacred unknown was the few,
Blood was soon oozing out
He pulled the trigger on himself,
In agony his body collapsed by itself,
Eyes wide open, mouth dried,
Every single blood cell died,
See how stupid humans came to be?
Always ignorant as can be,
For this sin was leaked out and freed,
Now nothing can seal this forever grief,
It was later initialed on his gravestone,
A curious boy with out a crying tone,
Never had the chance,
Never got to enhance,
His parents’ debate,
Over his bloody date,
Why when he could have walked away,
When he could have not stayed,
So what have we learned from this today?
That death sneaks upon dismay,
When nothing could go wrong,
Prejudice always stays strong,
Death…you can’t escape it,
You can’t run from it,
Because no matter where you are, what you do,
Death is always there to conclude.
