R.I.P

The night was silent,
All was lost,
The sky itself, was gray and dull,
We were all in pain, he was gone

We told him to stop,
But it was no use,
He just kept on doing it,
No matter how much we lose

We lost him, and he lost his life,
It doesn't seem fair,
How he couldn't stop,
And now, all was gone

I cried for him every night,
I told him he had to fight,
I reminded him that we all love him,
But in the end, we all lost him

I dedicate this poem in the memory of my uncle,
Who always told me,
"Never follow my example"
I love you, even if you're gone

But there is this message I never forgot,
Drugs ruin your life and all is lost,
My uncle died from it, and if you don't want to end up like him,
Please, don't do things like he did
