My thoughts

Its the thought of realizing everything you've thought real was a dream
its thought of facing the world
when the silver lining cant be seen
its the though of never knowing what will come your way
its the thought of losing your dignity when begging him to stay
its the thoughts you don't want to remember
but the part that wont let you forget
its the thought of knowing your so helpless
and the thoughts of the things you regret
its the thoughts that you have late at night
or when your lying in you room awake
begging for a way out
"praying for the lord your soul to take"
but its the thoughts of you that make me drop it
the thoughts of you that make me stay
the thoughts of you that give me a hand to hold
when i feel like slipping away
its my thoughts that sadden me
because i finally know why
its what i think of when I'm alone
if you wonder why i always cry
its the thought of knowing it could all be gone
and how tempted i always am
but then its the thought of trying so hard
to make you understand
its the thoughts that are inside me
its the thoughts that cause the pain
and i think and i think till i cant think no more
and its driving me insane
its the thoughts of my relationship
and the thoughts of my family and friends
its the thoughts that go through my mind constantly
when is it going to end?
it might be the thoughts that I'm thinking right now
or maybe later tonight
but its the thoughts of you that saves me
when my hope seems out of sight
but in the end my thoughts always win
and me? i'll just have to pull through
but my thoughts did kind of save me
