Each morning, each night

by Mousie   Jun 12, 2006

I wake up each morning
Uttering his name
Each ray of sunshine hitting my face
Lights a thought of him in my brain.

I walk through those doors
And recognize that hair,
I see his great big smile
And notice what he wears.

His open arms
Grasp me in his clutch,
Not realizing
He happens to be my crutch.

The day is spent
With giggles and laughs,
Instead of stories,
Science and graphs.

I come home
To the empty house,
Numerous phone calls
But then it's quiet as a mouse.

I have time to think
Time to reflect
That's when I remember
The words I tend to neglect.

'He loves her'
It hits me like a brick,
And I feel like this whole day
Was just one big trick.

Darkness blankets the Sun
It is time for me to sleep,
But daylight wonâ??t come quickly
Because all I do is weep.
