All lies.

by smiles♥   Jun 12, 2006

I'm scared.
To see you walk through that door.
I sit trembling.
Just thinking of the horror.

Because I know,
the moment you walk in,
the pain is only going to get worse.
The hatred, ready to win.

I hear you pull in the driveway.
I try to hide under my bed.
But you always find me,
and you hurt me until I see red.

The doorknob turns,
I smell it in your breath
and see it in your eyes.
That this is the last time, this is my death.

I clench my death,
I close my eyes.
You take several swings.
"I love you" All lies.

You take your last hit.
You walk out the door,
there I lay.
Motionless, sprawled on the floor.

It's all over,
as you can see,
that tonight,
my daddy murdered me.
