My Walk from No Man's Land

by stephanie   Jun 13, 2006

I used to walk a darkend road,
alone without a light.
My thoughts were all depressing,
my world was a fright.

I searched for many years,
for a caring heart to win.
But many years had been too long,
and I felt like giving in.

Just then I caught a glimps of light,
as you slowly took my hand.
You gave my heart a leap of faith,
as we walked from no man's land.

On that day you saved my life,
and you taught me how to love.
I learned to love myself and....You,
my angel from above.
