Goodbye :(

I can't believe i cried so much,
How much it hurt to say goodbye,
Tears were running down my cheek,
I wonder if you wondered why.

And if you ever guessed it right,
That every tear screamed i love you,
As someone pulled my heart from yours,
I wanted to tell you it was true.

That this aching in my breast,
And lump stuck in my throat,
Were all to say i'll miss you,
But these words i've only wrote.

I wish that i could see you,
And i long to touch your hand,
I long to walk beside you,
Our feet upon the sand.

I wish that you were real again,
Not only in my head,
If i could have the time back,
What would i do instead?
