Pain from each drink

by megan   Jun 14, 2006

The sadness in this girl's eyes.
Even though she rarely crys.
He hits her.
Her own father...
How can someone do that,
To their own daughter?
She hides it everday,
The bruises and each mark.
She tells people,
she fell in the dark.
We don't really think its true.
But theres nothing we can do,
Or so we think..
It's every drink,
that he takes it out on her.
Shes innocent and doesn't deserve,
what she gets.
We hope that he regrets...
and doesn't just forget.
About all the times
He's hurt his little girl.
If she just tells someone,
It would all just stop.
We could get her help,
But for now,
We just have to pray..
dayd to day,
That it all stops.
