Wipe Away The Tears

With the memories of our past still playing in my head,

I wish that you were by my side happy but you left instead.

The pain that i felt when you left my side can never be subsided,

Becoming harder to bare when I remember when you and I united.

Nights are hard as "our song" plays to the dancing thoughts of you,

And days are eternity as I start to figure out there's nothing I can do.

I misplaced your trust the day she put her presence in the face of mine,

And since then I lie awake at night and reminisce of when you were mine.

But you are happy and there is nothing I want more than to see you smile,

Hoping that you one day forgive the mistakes that were so vile.

Keep the life in your touch, the love in your heart, and never cry,

Cause to you my wishes will be sent to wipe away the tears from your eyes.
