Prove me wrong*~*

Ya this one was from a while ago too.. but sometimes i still feel this way...

at times i'm sure you love me
and that you will never leave
but sometimes you make it so hard
for me to actually believe

you act like you don't care,
like my feelings don;t even matter
you make my life feel empty again,
And you leave my heart to shatter

you tell me things i would never guess
that you would ever say
and even though you say you are sorry,
this emptiness won't go away

sometimes you tell me you love me
and it all feels like a lie
and even when i think you mean it,
i still find a reason to cry

i don't know what is wrong with me,
why i feel this way
why can't i just believe it's the truth?
why can't i believe what you say?

but i guess deep down i must be scared
because of what happened before
last time i believed you,
you walked right out the door

and even though you tell me
that this time you are here for good
i can't seem to find a way
to trust you like I should

so maybe after you prove me wrong,
and show me that you will never leave
maybe then i can start to trust
and somehow start to believe
