Walk beside...

by Nikki   Jun 14, 2006

She's touched by so much hate
She will die at a fast rate
Nobody knows that she's scared to live
Inside her life she must give

One hand holding the other
Walking beside no other
Once a smile on her face
Has been taken to a deluded place

So scared to become free
She's afraid to tell you, it's me
I'm the girl that's touched by hate
I shall die at this fast rate

Way to scared to live
One more cut to give
With one hand holding the other
I will walk beside no other

I really love the independence and imagery shown here. It's strong and yet speaks of weakness.
