Tides of Love

by David Moss   Jun 15, 2006

Small drifts urge me moving forward,
I yearn to ebb in close to fill
My hopes to ground upon your shores;
Our love's fruition my longing will.

But time passed is tide that pulls back deep,
To my cold comfort of lonely self;
With heartless hope I helpless weep,
With hopeless heart I love thee still.
