Playin' A Player

by Shan   Jun 16, 2006

I'll be the one laughing when this is done.
You just wait and see.
I'll sit back and play your games.
But you won't be playing me.

Tell me every lie you want to tell.
And feed me every line.
I'll act naive like I don't have a clue.
In the end you'll be the one to whine.

Go ahead and lead me on,
I'll lead you on too.
You won't know the game I'm playing,
Because boy, I'm smarter than you.

Give me all that sweet talk,
And look deep into my eyes.
I'll say I'm in love with you.
And pretend to believe your lies.

And when you tell me it's over,
But then you want another chance,
I'll be the one laughing,
Because I was never in your trance.

You can't get back something we never had.
And want something we never were.
I'll laugh at the fact that it was an act.
Because nothin's sweeter then playin' a player.
